Why people suffering from Depression are on the rise in India?

Rise, Depression, India,
Today, we see a deep concern for increasing numbers of people suffering from depression. Earlier, depression was not so common in India because of peaceful and friendly environment we had. However, now the numbers of people suffering with depression are increasing rapidly in India.

Depression is not only associated with poor or unsuccessful people; but it is more common in successful and rick class of society. Recently, I came to hear about the fight of famous Indian film actress Deepika Padukone with Depression. It was like a shock to me that so mature, successful and talented actress can suffer from Depression.

This is not a story in isolation, we are seeing a constant increase in depression cases in India and the speed of spread of Depression is alarming. According to a study conducted by the World Health Organization every 13th person is at risk of developing depression in India. Depression is increasing across the world and as per World Health Organization by 2020, it will become the second most deadly disease in the world.

Why Depression is increasing so fast? There are many reasons behind the increase of depression is India and one of the main reasons is a change in lifestyle. As a society, we are becoming more individual oriented and therefore, we are seeing a high increase of individual ego. Today, it has become more important for people to think about themselves first than to think about others.

Due to this approach, people are becoming alone despite being successful. When we just think about ourselves and don't give proper attention to our family members, friends and dear ones; then soon they start leaving us. In life, it is very important to invest in people, then to just collect money. When we have a few good people on our side, then we easily fight most of stresses in life and remain away from diseases like depression.

The diseases like depression become more threatening and harmful when we don't have close relationships in life. When there are people who listen to our issues, understand our problems and motivate us to fight our problems; then we easily come out of difficult situations in life.

The second most common reason is non-acceptance of Depression as a disease. Though, there is an increase in awareness about the depression in India; however, still a lot is required to be done. The number of Psychiatrists in India is very less and there are just 0.05 psychiatrists per 10,000 people in India.

We need to educate people that depression is a disease and it needs medical treatment.

Therefore, if you want to remain away from depression in life, then do invest in good people so that they can pull you out in your difficult time.

What is Age difference of Abhishek and Aishwarya? Is Age difference really matter in Marriages?

Abhishek Bachan and Aishwarya Rai Bachan hardly need any introduction and they are the most successful and best couples of Bollywood. They married on 20-4-2007 and that time, there were speculations about their marriage that will there marriage be a success or not? Till now their married life is going very smoothly and they become proud parents of a beautiful daughter Aaradhya on 16th Nov, 2012.

The marriage of Abhishek and Aishwarya was unique in one more way. Aishwarya Rai is older than Abhishek Bachan by 2 yrs and 2 months which is the opposite of the general trend in India where mostly groom age is more than a bride. Date of Birth of Aishwarya Rai is 1st November 1973 and Date of Birth of Abhishek Bachan is February 5th, 1976. Even after six years of their marriage, this matter is the main point of many talks and at many places where the age of the girl is more than a boy, then this example is given.

Abhishek Bachan has followed the example of his father Amitabh Bachan who has marri…

Importance of clean environment

It is very important to take care of our environment because our health and our survival on the earth directly depends on the health of our environment. It is very easy to find dirt and pollution at many places across the world and a large population of the world is living in these bad and unhygienic conditions.

People are drinking unclean drinking water and they are breathing polluted air; so, this pollution of the environment is causing many people to suffer from various health problems. Whereas if we live in a clean environment then we can live a healthy life and we can achieve this by understanding the importance of clean environment.

Sadly, we see very less being done to address this matter and we are slowly creating more polluted spaces on earth. Today, it is very hard to find clean places at several parts of the world. Slowly, the governments across the world are opening eyes to address this issue.

It is very important for every individual in this world to understand that clea…

Does the effect of coronavirus is overrated?

Today, we see the whole of the world gripped in the fear of coronavirus that some of the countries have even crippled. There is no doubt that coronavirus is a new and deadly virus and; we don’t have any cure available to fight this virus. However, still, the effects of this virus are overrated and we fear too much from it. People around the world fear so much from coronavirus that they think that its end is near. In the recent post, does the whole world die because of the coronavirus outbreak? I have tried to highlight this issue.
It is clear that it is a deadly virus and we need to take all precautions to fight it; however, fearing too much from it is not a good idea. The death rate from this virus is already much-much less than many other diseases present in our world and this virus is more dangerous for the people who are already at the risk. The steep fall in stock markets across the world also show this nature of the world that we are losing all hopes.
All this is happening becaus…
