Vinegar is a combination of acetic acid (CH3COOH) and water, and to get vinegar, we need to go through a two-step fermentation of ethanol into acetic acid. Acetic acid is the primary acid in vinegar. It is made of two molecules of carbon and four molecules of hydrogen and two molecules of oxygen. The distilled vinegar used at the home has 5-7% acetic acid in it.  As per US FDA, a good vinegar must contain 4-7% of acetic acid in it. 

Use of vinegar can be found in a wide range of things and many people are increasing its regular use because of the many health benefits added to it. Vinegar is believed to be very beneficial for stomach-related problems and it helps in the digestion of food. It is also helpful in detoxifying the body and reducing sugar levels in the blood.
