Beautiful Pictures of Indian Birds

Here is a new series where I will introduce you to the beautiful birds of India though their pictures. In India, we can find many resident and migratory birds. Some of these birds are very rare and some of them are extremely beautiful. As we are cutting more trees, so we are decreasing the area of these birds. Most birds need trees and forests for food and nest and when we cut trees, we put many birds in danger. As per estimates, we can find more than 1300 species of birds in India. Due to uncontrolled cutting of trees and deforestation may birds of India have already become extinct.

If we want our next generations to see these beautiful birds, then we need to grow more trees and create more bird sanctuaries. These birds make our skies and surroundings very beautiful. As a bird photographer, I have found great versatility and unique in these birds. The aim of my pictures of birds is to create awareness among people about the beauty of birds and to work in direction to save birds. Today, we can become so much development oriented that we don't want to consider on what cost we are achieving it. You can check my Bird Photography Blog at indianbirds.arvindkatoch.com

Are we becoming Nature Unfriendly and Development Friendly?

Nature, Development
Everywhere today we see a race for the development. From government to the private sector, everyone is selling development and development. We are shown dreams that development and commercialization hold all the keys to our happiness.

However, no one wants to give this answer that the development at what cost. Why there is no talk about nature and improving nature? Why development only means more concrete buildings, cutting trees, reducing forest and agricultural lands?

Why no one talks about the nature, forests, wildlife? We hardly listen our big leaders/politicians giving any positive statement about wildlife and nature. Today's politicians are only concerned about vote bank politics and concerns of big industrialists.

Therefore, we see more policies which are oriented towards vote bank politics and industrialization. People are lured to believe that big industries are the solution of their problems. However, we forget that small scale industry benefits rural crowd more than big industries without affecting the nature.

There is huge demand of products produced by hand or by the small scale industry worldwide, our government can take all this to new heights by encouraging more participation of people.

I am not against big industries, I am only against blind growth without caring nature and to benefit few only. Today, we see a lack of willpower for rural and wildlife growth. Indian which was once a country of villages, now become a nation of mismanaged cities.

Our Prime Minster says boldly that high tech and well planned cities are a solution to this problem; however, he forgets that we first need high tech and well planned villages.

For the last 60 years, we are only listening talks about the development of villages, but still ground realities are not very encouraging.

Despite 30 years of Project Tiger, the number of tigers in India is same what they are 30 years back. The migration of people from villages to cities have only increased. All this shows the failure of our policies and lack of will power.

However, we forget that it is impossible to survive without the support of nature. If we keep on creating big dams on the river one after another, then one day our rivers will stop meeting with the sea and one day they will dry up.

In India, we need a synergy between growth and safety of nature. We need more development of villages. Otherwise, we will become a nation of mismanaged, polluted and highly crowded cities.

To Live in the Company of Wicked persons is to live in a Hell

Wicked, Person, Comoany
This Statement by Chanakya is very correct that to live in the company of the wicked is to live in a Hell. We can define a wicked person as a person who only thinks about himself and his speech and actions are very harsh in nature.

A wicked never understand the point view of a good person and always tries to spoil his happiness. If we think that we can change a wicked person then the chances are very less. Wicked people are highly egoist people always absorbed in making others life difficult.

A wicked can also be represented by a parasite who takes shelter in your body and also absorbs your blood and weakens you. The only way to solve this problem is moving away from the wicked as far as you can. A Wicked wants everyone to do what he thinks is right or he enjoys.

Our world is full of such wicked people who have only major concern to make the lives of others more difficult. All people who are presently in the company of a wicked must be experiencing hell in this world.

Sometimes, in life we go through times when we have no option what to live with a wicked person and it's become very hard for us to cross this time because the wicked person make every effort to make our life miserable.

However, you can take this time as a learning lesson in life. When life gives an opportunity to move away from such a wicked person or people, then one should never miss this opportunity because only option available to you is to move away as wicked person will never change.
