Wrong Order delivery by Tradus.in and homeshop18.com. How convinent is online shopping?


We all know this fact that it take just few minutes to shop online and we can buy anything from numbers of online stores. However, recently I released that it may be very easy to shop online; however, it is very very difficult to return products or deal with wrong orders. Below I am giving example of two leading shopping portal and negligence caused by them.



Tradus.in – Last week, I gave order for a Polo T-shirt from Tradus.in, ibibo.com company shopping portal. Three days back when I got the order then I have no option but to scream because there was no T-shirt in it. In the place of T-Shirt, they sent me lady snug tight. Finally, I tried to contact customer care of tradus.in which hardly exist and sent them many complaints and mails. All emails failed to reach destination because despite providing email addresses, they do not accept mails. Till writing this article, I am waiting for their response which looks very slow.

Homeshop18.com – I ordered a dry sheet for my new born son from homeshop18.com. I ordered by M (Middle) size of Rs 350. However, when I received order then it was S (Size) sheet of Rs 199. I called Homeshop18 helpline number. They asked me to follow some instructions and gave me an outstation number of TNT courier which I later found that does not exist. So far, I have wasted Rs 40 on making calls. Still I do not know my order will be replaced or not.

Through, this article I want to make a point that everything is not totally right with online shopping. It is very difficult to replace products and it cause lot of headache in return. Many times, we do not get same products which are actually shown on website like happened with a Saree bought from homeshop18 where designed of actual Saree delivered to me varies significantly from the original Saree shown on site. So if, you are planning to buy online then do keep in mind that you may be buying a trouble for yourself.

Last month I had placed an order for HP 8GB pen drive from tradus, online. They delivered my ordered within 3 days but without bill, and they just gave me the warranty card. When I asked them about the Bill, they commit me to provide that on next working day. But still I am waiting for that. I thought that at least Pen drive is working fine, but I was just wrong. It was not connecting. Then I made a call to customer care of tradus at 0124-6777005 but nobody was responding. After calling them 12 times one of them picked my call, but when I discussed them about my issue they told me that it is not their concern. I should call to HP support or go there personally. But how could the problem be resolved without Bill. Still I have been made them call for 15 times for bill but no hearing at all. So I submitted my complaint at Consumer Court. But even they also didn’t replied me still.
