Increasing commercialisation of education in India

Education, Commercialisation, India
Read the new article - Increasing commercialization of education in India and its side effects

In recent times, we are witnessing a new trend in India and due to this trend; today education has become a way of earning lots of money by businessmen, politicians and bureaucrats. For most of these entrepreneurs education is nothing more than a way of making good returns from their investments and due to this reason, they are charging huge amount of fees from students, while students mostly have no option in their hands except giving this fees in the hope of getting a good education and later good future.

We can easily give the example of flourishing MBA colleges across India where average annual fees is around 5-10 lakh rupees; however, the facilities provided by these colleges are much below average levels. Most of these colleges remain more interested in making good bucks than providing quality education to students. Every year, number of students going for higher professional education is increasing in India and therefore, good opportunity exists for all these colleges to make money by offering such courses. Same condition do prevail in other professional colleges in India.

In many cases, situations even become worse and students feel cheated at the end of courses. However, in India this trend has full support of our government because many big political leaders and industrialists are running these colleges. Therefore, they easily get the required certificates to run these colleges without providing proper educational infrastructure. At the end, we can say that for these people education has today become an option to make money only than providing quality education to students.

This is really a shameful situation for country like India where our great leaders have stressed on quality and free education. There are many people in India, who still live under poor conditions and therefore, they first find it hard to afford this education and second, if can afford then fail in getting quality education in return. Though, government announce many such popular schemes for providing help to poor students but these schemes mostly do not get any takers due to less information and rampant corruption in system.

When shortage of Electricity and Water will stop in India

Mostly by seeing impressive figures of growth people start believing that things are very fine in India and everything is only growing here. However, there are certain basic things which are actually going in the reverse direction like availability of electricity and fresh drinking water. Hardly, summer has knocked the doors of north India and people here have started witnessing long electricity cuts and shortage of drinking water.

Every year, our centre government and state government’s claims number of breakthrough in solving these two basic problems, however, next year situation only become even worse than the actual situation last year. At certain places, these situations have already started showing alarming signs with electricity and water not coming for even days. Problem of water is more alarming than the shortage of electricity because of the depleting ground water levels and ground water getting polluted due to industrial waste.

In some parts, ground water is no longer safe for drinking, however, due to non availability of other alternatives people are forced to drink this water only. Demand for water is increasing every year while natural resources which are providing water from many centuries are shrinking on the yearly basis. On certain summer days, people in northern India have to live without both water and electricity.

This is really a worry sign for the growing state like India and can cause big problems in the future if corrective measures are not taken soon to solve these problems. From educated people to conserving ground water, there are many options available with governments and people to decrease this problem considerably and make life of people easier.

When decisions forced on us

In life, we all face number of situation when we are forced to take certain decisions which we never otherwise thing of taking. I put these decisions under the category of forced decisions because these decisions are mostly opposite of our basic nature. For example, if we do not like to hurt anyone in this world then sometimes due to the adamant or irritating attitude of few people we are forced to take decisions which can hurt these people.

However, we cannot blame directly ourselves for these decisions because other people some time constantly make number of efforts to hurt us or our feelings. Now if these people do not take care of our feeling then for how long we also can respect their feelings. Similarly, this finding also becomes relevant for us and we need to see reason hidden behind the bad behaviour of certain person towards us.

Therefore, we are also required to remain alert of our own actions and avoid hurting the sentiments or emotions of others. If in this world, every person start taking care of this fact then no person in this world will be forced to take forced decisions. Forced Decisions are mostly negative decisions against the will of a person and therefore, we can never expect positive results out of them. Life looks good if it flows in a natural way and not in forced way.

We all need to generate a habit of giving due respect for every individual of this world and his individuality. With mutual respect to each other, we can easily make this world a heaven for every human being where no one hurts anyone.

Who can forgive me?

Sometimes, in life we find ourselves in very strange situations where we find it very difficult to get some answers. One of such answer which many people search in this world is who can forgive them. In life, we all take number of decisions and steps where we do not have any clear idea of what is right for us. Therefore, we take decisions depending on few facts and perceptions.

We never know exactly in these situations that we are taking the right decision or not, therefore, a guilt of may have taken a wrong decision haunt us for whole life. In these kinds of situations, we find ourselves in very helpless position because we mostly do not know where we can find our answers. These kinds of the situations are very often faced by people who give lot of importance to emotions than the logics.

Many times, we also have straight logics available in front of us still our mind tells us to believe something else. These are really very complex situations, though they are simultaneously no situations at all because they are created by our emotional guilt. These situations even become more difficult when we realise at later stage that we have taken a wrong decisions and have hurt the feelings of some other person.

This dilemma leads to a situation of confusion and we ask this question from ourselves that who can forgive us? This uncertainty can be very fatal and can even cause lot of damage to person. Therefore, best solution available in this kind of situation is accepting the law of karma and taking decisions best as per law of karma.

Later in life, even if these decisions become wrong still we should not worry about this outcome because we took a best decision in past as per the law of Karma (as told in Srimad Bhagwad Gita). In life, we can never become 100% sure about a decision; therefore, we have to take some calculated risks.

Huge cost of Armies

There are more than hundred countries in this world and every country has its own armies. Armies are mostly made up of the strongest people from these countries those are provided with latest weapons. Every country wants their army to be among the strongest armies in the world.

Therefore, there are many countries in our world which spend at the tune of 20% to 30% of their GDP on holding these big armies and in certain war and terrorism effected countries cost of armies even go beyond this range. If we calculate the cost of all armies of the world then it will come out in many-many billions.

If we wisely calculate then this money is enough for giving food, clothes and shelter to every needy person on earth and if we do this then no one will die on this earth due to the shortage of food, clothes and shelter. However our hatred and distrust on each other is not allowing this to happen. We are busy in creating new weapons of mass destruction which can destroy earth many times. We are busy in making our nations better than rest of the world. We are not interested in making this world a better place for every person of this world.

I do agree that armies have given us lot in return like providing help in calamities, saving us from enemies etc; however still we can easily reduce lot of unnecessary wastage of money on them. By this small effort if taken by all countries, we can easily make whole world a more beautiful place to live for all of us.

Changing Job Concept in India

IN the last few years, India is seeing a massive change in the ways of people work here. Today, Indians are no more dependent of conventional jobs and they have many opportunities of attractive jobs available with them. These new jobs are changing the perceptions of people about jobs. Some of these jobs are so lenient that people are not even required to go out of their homes.
In this list, first comes the name of BPO industry which has made it possible to work at night for millions of Indians youngsters, which option was only available in manufacturing industry so for. Moreover, BPO industry has also helped many graduates and undergraduates in earning good amount of money for their good life style. Second place in this category is occupied by IT industry which has offered people many solutions for working and people can even opt for completing their work from anywhere.

People are only required to submit their projects on time and they can work from anywhere even from their homes. Third change which we are seeing is seeing in present time is working for US companies from India, there are many works available for Indians through the platform of internet like tuitions, writing works or experts views etc which people can do while living in India and are getting paid from US and Europe. These are really few welcoming changes which are going to change the ways through which we were looking jobs in India. All this is really going to offers many great opportunities in front of Indians.

Importance of wasted Time

Thanks to modern fast life, we all are becoming faster than machines. Life is becoming only fast and fast due to competitiveness of our world. Today we are so much busy that we do not have time for our self. First we are busy in our work then in our house work and finally in other crisis. Due this we mostly start living an irregular life which causes lot of waste of energy, time and resources.

Mostly we land in situations where whole of our schedules lag behind or remain in problems and finally creating more tensions for us. In the end, after living such fast life we find our self in many difficult situations. This problem may be attributed as one of the main reason behind increasing metal tensions in the world.

The other biggest problem is that most of the people know about these things, however, very few of them are able to take any concrete actions for solving these problems. In the end we waste a bigger part of our life in these wasteful activities and repent in the old age for these wasted moments which can be otherwise used in more productive way. The difference between successful and failed people is that successful people are able to utilize this time wisely while failed people do not recognise the importance of this time.

Finally, it only depends on us that we want to become a failed person or want to be remembered as a successful person. Time is a great key available in the hands of every person which has the potential of opening locks of many fortunes for us.

Debate on Power of God

Debate on Power of God

From many centuries, people across the world are challenging the power of god in their own ways. In every challenge, god has shown his power to human beings, still many people do challenge god regularly. We all see many claims and counter claims on God, which sometimes strengthen or loosen our hopes on the God.

Almost all the religions points towards a force which is beyond our reach but still governs all of our fates. Simply, we all see this force as God. There are many miracles which are done by this force. Some people are present in this world those do not believe on the God and believe all these miracles as matter of chance.

On the other hand many religions from past times are pointing towards this unknown force. The belief on God provides people with a power to face difficult situations in world. The belief on the God has given birth to a great spiritual development for mankind which is helping many people in this world. God is still a very big power within all us and provides all of us with a great strength.

We can get the help of this great power for becoming stronger in this world. Numbers of people have already used this force for achieving great height in this life. All such people have given all credits to this great force for their success in life. Now, it only depends on us that we trust this power of god or not.

How to become confident in Life?

How to become confident in Life?

Confidence is one of the most sots after thing in present world. Every person wants to have confidence and simultaneously, confidence is desired in every person. Most of us already know it’s important in life. We know how confidence can create a huge difference in our life. We have seen my confident people in our life and we have always tried to look like them. We have seen how confidence has made other people more successful than us. We like confidence and we want to be confident.

However, problem is that we are not able to achieve it. Very few of us are able to realize this. Moreover, it is also very difficult to remain confident in all conditions whatsoever they may be. For example many people at certain times are confident and at some other place and time they behave like people who lack confidence. To find a person who is really confident in all conditions and all situations is a hard job; however, if we meet one such person then we can clearly recognize differences between him and other people who lack confidence. These types of people are extraordinary in them and are highly successful in their ventures. A different charm can be seen on their faces. Everyone likes to talk to him, work with him, love him and likes to become like him.

This is the main reason behind the success of these people. We know all these secrets; therefore, we have a desire to become confident. However to become a confident person is not an easy task because we have earlier also tried many ways to become confident. We followed many people for this and read many books, sadly nothing helped us. We are still same old people, who are looking towards others to fulfil their needs. We depend on them and also controlled by them. The main question is that we ever tried to see reasons behind it. Reasons can be many behind our failure to become a confident person. Some of them are associated with our lifestyle and understanding of world.

Many people in this world born and die as slaves of other. How you may ask? It is simple most us doesn’t live our own life. We are not living to fulfil our dreams, but most of the time we are only fulfilling others dreams. Other people exploit us by fulfilling our small dreams in the exchange they are fulfilling their large dreams. Therefore most of us don’t live their real life. We are only able to achieve our some basic dreams. Therefore inside we remain as unfilled person. And an unfulfilled person can never be confident. We are searching confidence in wrong things and at wrong places.

Real confidence lies inside us and we can achieve it by fulfilling our true desires. We do not need anybodies help for achieving it. It is already present in all of us, only the world has made this process complex. They do not want us to be confident. They require us to fulfil their dreams because without us they cannot do this. We are required to understand our inner self and get its help in searching purpose of our life. Once we realize our purpose of living and try to fulfil it. Then day by day we will find our self more confident. This is the most simple and easiest way to get confident in life which God has made for us and everybody has right have it.

Why Comparison is a disease?

Comparison is one of greatest diseases present in our world and we are taught to do it from our birth. From our birth our parents start comparing us with other children. Our teachers compare us with other students. From the beginning we are being told to compare our self with others. This is a greatest disease, because everybody is born unique and comparison is just not possible. I am unique in my position and similarly, you are unique in your position. There is actually no person present in the universe whom with you can be compared.

Each man is a unique creature of god. Everybody has born in this world for first time and with unique skills. Therefore no comparison is possible. Comparison only brings trouble, if someone fall victim to this disease of comparison then he will become either very egoistic or very bitter. It all depends upon on whom you compare yourself with, if you compare yourself with people who are better than you, higher than you, greater than you, you will become bitter.

You will become a complaint against the existence and an anger will occupy your mind that why you are not better than others? Why I am not like others? Why I am not physically strong? Why I am not beautiful? Why I am not intelligent? Why I am not this or that? And thousand questions of this kind. If we go on doing this then we soon become very bitter person. Our life becomes poisoned by comparison. We always remain in state of depression and behave as life has betrayed us.

On the other hand if we compare our self with people who are in some way lesser than us, then we become very egoistic. This is the main reason why rich people collect lot of weak and poor people around them. This gives them opportunity to feel bigger than others. Ordinary people look at the success of rich, their houses, their achievements and therefore feel bitter about the existence. They start looking at God as it has betrayed them. Therefore without thankfulness for creator, there is no prayer and without prayer there is no religion.

However, a man who understands the uniqueness of everybody feels immense gratitude in whatsoever supreme power has given to him. If we do not compare then we are neither bigger nor smaller, neither ugly nor beautiful, neither intelligent nor stupid. And if we do not compare then we are simply us. In the state of simply us spring come in our life because a deep gratitude towards life helps in bringing this spring full of heavenly bless.

How to mange a Servant? (Inside Servant's mind)

Yesterday I got a chance to witness confession of a servant. Earlier my thinking about the servants was not good. I thought that they are people who are physically strong but they have no intellectual ability. However, confessions of this servant changed my whole thinking about other servants. He made my perception more clear on right and wrong. He was doing his job for last ten years. He was getting two thousands rupees as a salary (45$). He was feeling very unhappy because the other servant in the house was told to leave his job.

The other servant was working for last fifteen years in house. He was told to leave job by the owner of house because owner found him guilty of cheating. The servant told me that no one in this world wants to cheat or do wrong things. It is the world which make him do all these things. When the owner himself go for shopping then he purchase a certain item for 100 rupees while same item is purchased by the servant in 50 rupees saving 50 rupees. He told that if servant retains these fifty rupees then there is no crime.

The other thing which hurts most of the servants according to him is suspicion on them. They are always under suspicion from their owners. He told that a servant always be given some freedom in his work. Second problem faced by servants is not getting enough hikes in their salaries. They continue to work for years on the same salaries. When their families increase then it become very difficult for them to survive on same salary and thus they may restore to wrong things.

For maintaining a good relations with the servants owner require to have constant conversation with him and in conversation he must give due importance to servant’s views. This conversation will help owner in accessing the needs of servants in well advance. If a servant is given some extra responsibility then he must be dually rewarded for his extra work. Few extra rupees will not only sometimes motivate him but also encourage him to be away from wrong doings.

Managing servants is similar to managing people in organizations. Only by doing few motivational things one can retain the honesty and commitment of a servant. Smart living makes the all difference.
